I decided it was time to try something different that would satisfy me. But if you’re still with me, I’ll say a lot of outlining needed to happen in my life. Although planning is my expertise, I had to restructure my life to accommodate my new career.

This is why I curated a schedule to facilitate my Type A personality. And if you are wondering, what does that mean? I’m just rigidly organized! But if you have two careers, I will say planning is essential. In fact, for anything!

So, I’m here to break it all down for you. I’ll share how to plan and stay on schedule with everything like a boss!

  • Preparation makes you point out the action you propose to undertake. 
  • It lets you know when you have time to complete the task. 
  • It gives you an idea about the components involved in the process. 
  • Planning will equip you for the task. 
  • It allows you to figure out the task so you know what to do every day, every week, and every month. It creates a habit. 
  • Planning prevents unnecessary distractions and duplication.

THE 3 STEPS TO CREATE A DAILY ROUTINE

PLAN 1 – Productive morning routine  

The first solution, and now the most important, is commanding my morning. This routine sets the tone, environment, and mood for the day.

  1. Rise early. From an early age, my grandmother always said: Don’t let the sun rise, and you are still in bed. 

  2. My time of devotion includes worship, music, Bible reading, prayer, and waiting for God to direct me (meditation). 

  3. Have a glass of water with apple cider vinegar or lemon (optional) 

  4. Make my bed. This small task creates order in my mind and allows me to start my day. Also, I can’t function in a messy area. 

  5. Gym – I’ll opt for yoga movements if my schedule doesn’t allow time for them. 

It is part of my strategy to get these things before I walk into my office because when I do, I feel like I have just achieved a portion of my schedule.

  2. Prayer before starting anything.
  3. Have a clear desk – sometimes, I shuffle the desk occasionally to feel most significant to me. 
  4. Visualize, in detail, how I want to start.
  5. Open my electronic planning device and enter the list of things to action. 
  6. Set up pop-ups on my computer or phone throughout the day, so I’m on schedule with each task. It makes me aware!

Once you’ve mastered your office routine, it’s time to introduce the afternoon solution. Besides, my after-work routine is where I handle ME and my entrepreneurial career. I take this time to lionize the vision for myself. It’s essential to continue to fulfil your life goals. Although you may have to work harder, don’t stop pursuing your goals. And this is how to plan it!

  1. Schedule my workout – I handle my workout like any other necessary appointment in the same way as a doctor’s appointment. 
  2. Then, after scheduling, execute by showing up.
  3. Learning development – This is where I create ways to continue learning. I wrote about it in a post here. 
  4. Now, a portion of my entrepreneurial career is related to the Internet, so I have digital apps where I schedule my activities. In case you are wondering, for example, Instagram.
