Have you considered the year 2020? How is it going to look? It hit me that 2019 is halfway over. It seems like we should be planning early instead of waiting for December 2019 or January 1st to set invaluable goals for a prosperous 2020. Seriously, this year, 2019, I created some invaluable goals for my life, and let me tell you, I’m having the best year.
Let me elaborate: I did a John Maxwell growth session with Dr. Luke Quamina early in May, to be precise. At the end of every lesson/chapter, he challenged us to take action and interact with the information.
Let me tell you; this was challenging – doubts, fear of failure and disappointments of the past, it will keep you from creating a space of progress.
TOP FIVE INVALUABLE GOALS TO PLAN
Although life is uncertain, it should not stop us from pursuing our worth. Now, I’m sharing some advice that is flourishing in 2019. So, here, in the post, I’ll share my top five take-home invaluable goals lesson for 2019, which can be implemented in your goals list in 2020
1. How to create practical steps with your fund goals
Now, this step is essential because we need our finances in check! First, an excellent way to start is with investment. Even more, investment is an excellent way to open the goals list. For one thing, we need to know that we are moving in the right direction. Is it true? So, my point is to make an appointment with your banker and organize your bank account—it is essential. Otherwise, it can cause havoc.
Secondly, get a strategy that works for you. I use a practice I established called the IGF—Invest, Growth, and Fund. But guess what I realized just in the nick of time: You have to INVEST! The problem is that if the money remains in the bank, there are no significant returns. But if we are wise, then we will find ways to invest some of those funds.
Here’s how I made it work: I released my fear of stocks and bonds, and in weeks, I saw my money multiply. Noteworthy! So, with growth, you have to find a way to manage that progress, which leads to the funds. Next, pool that fund.
For example, you can purchase a new property, open a business, create and sell your products, and, most importantly, give back by sponsoring a child or an organization.
2. How to be intentional with your health goals
This point is often overlooked. From time to time, my health has been a journey for me with good and bad years. So, when I became knowledgeable, and awareness presented itself, I made myself healthier. Yes, I did! Therefore, we must fix our relationship with our body and food. These are my suggestions:
- Schedule a blood work check-up – make sure everything is functioning well.
- Examine your colon and get a colonoscopy. Ladies, plan your pap smear.
- Endocrinology follow-up – hormones need to be checked!
- An echocardiogram (echo) is a graphic outline of the heart’s movement.
- Or visit your doctor to ensure you are in touch with your health.
3. How to create a growth environment goals
With this intention, I believe we have an opportunity to learn something new every day. Yes, if you want to change your situation, you have to find ways to learn. I call this step my growth plan. I know what you think a growth plan is. It’s a plan to keep you learning.
With this in mind, I know that not everyone feels compelled to return to school or university. However, there are short-term ways to continue learning. A short course can be taken online, or you can read more or attend seminars or conferences. Just make a way to get better!
4. How to practice self-care routine goals
Here is where I have a well-honed practice for self-care. We need balance in our lives. So, find ways to exercise more “me time”! This invaluable goal will balance your psychological energy. It all boils down to this: each day of the week, create actions and behaviours to improve your state of mind.
In the same way, have a me-off day on your schedule for me time and treat yourself! I finally understood that you need to pamper yourself. If you did something great, reward yourself! You had a rough day. Reward yourself for making it through.
5. How to show up for your goals
Now, this goal is simple, but we sometimes struggle! Here’s the main issue with that: It’s consistency and dedication! After we write it down and are excited about the start of the first month, we seldom become unmotivated. Let me tell you, push through. The secret to a successful year is found in your daily habits.
