7 GENIUS BLOGGER REVIEW YOU NEED TO KNOW

1. What are some of the things you wish you knew before you started your blog?

When it comes to starting anything in my life, I approach it with a lot of research. Therefore, before I started my blog in August 2019, I sought to learn as much as I could about the blogging habit. Albeit, I missed a few things in the process and so had to learn by actual blogging on which is true of anything in life, I’ll clarify it by bullet point. Here we go!

SEO

This is a small but powerful tool! Especially when you’ve started a new website. To be honest, I didn’t even know the word existed until I began blogging. In addition, if you’re wondering what SEO stands for, it’s SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION; it helps increase traffic to your website through an organic search engine.

WEBSITE FOR BLOG PROMOTION

There are many free and different platforms that promote your blog for FREE. I did not know about this until one day I stumbled on a Pinterest post.

Website to promote and submit your Blog Posts for free to these websites:

  • Bloglovin
  • Blogarama
  • Mix
  • Blog Post Vote Up
  • Scoop.it
  • Quora
  • Reddit
  • Facebook groups

Also, Pinterest is a fantastic platform to promote your blog! Not to mention blacklining your website. I know people hesitate to comment on other sites, but it drives traffic to your website. But be authentic!

HOW TO MONETIZE YOUR BLOG

As a new website, there are lots of cons when it comes to Google and affiliated markets (Reward style, ShopStyle collection and Amazon). Besides, to monetize your site, you need GOOGLE and TRAFFIC. I’m still working on my google rating to monetize my site in 2020.

2. What is your blogging schedule? Do you write content every day?

So, I’m a part-time blogger, which means I have a 9-5 career and blogging is my side-purpose. But, on the question, I thought that I had this blogging schedule sorted out, but here is the inside story. Before I launched my website, I curated a blogging schedule for two months – photos and contents.

However, I had to discard some content after starting because after doing some blogging review the keywords phrase was weak. That’s after learning about SEO.

Nevertheless, I seemed to have a working blogging schedule. Here it is:

  • Schedule two sessions of photoshoot -40 photos in total
  • Write out blog post ideas before the photoshoot – it helps me to visualize the effect of the shoots
  • Create a weekly plan, and recently I started a monthly basis
  •  Make a list of the photos, captions and schedule for social media. There are tons of apps just google it!
  • I also work on my blog every day. If not writing, researching content, editing an old post, fixing keywords, working on email listing and reading another blog.

(2b) To answer the second portion of the question: No, I don’t write every day. However, I’ll draft a post by creating clusters. Cluster is my way of creating headings and subheadings and the key to writing an article in one day.

3.    If there is one thing you can change in the blogging industry, what would it be and why?

Competition! This blogger review was difficult when I started blogging, I thought it was a friendly space and a way to connect with single-minded peers. However, I learned early! Now, I was hoping you wouldn’t get me misunderstood because the blogging space has granted me extraordinary opportunities and friendships.

Also, this is just what I’ve noticed in four months of blogging. And, to answer the why. I was once told that change starts with oneself. Therefore, I decided to focus on establishing a way to collaborate with others to bring solidarity and demonstrate that we can be “happily ever later.”

4. Where do you see yourself in the next 3 years as a blogger/influencer?

This is a great blogger review question! After all, as I was answering, it got me thinking – BECOMING! I’m staring at my vision on a product to inspire meaningful and purposeful aspirations. So, I’m using blogging to equip me with the skill and consistency to reach out to my goals. Also, three years, I believe, is enough price to pay for where I’m heading with my platform.

5. What is the one thing that makes you stand out as a new blogger?

I believe we are unique. You can be the most beautiful person with your characteristics. However, I admire my “inner strength.” The walls could be falling, but I’ll keep moving. When I was younger, there were many struggles with creating my identity, so I didn’t have must say beyond what I was told. I think I didn’t have a clear circle to mirror.

Today, in my mid 30’s, I have a fire inside me and a determination that is part of my strength to go after and build a powerhouse. Some may struggle with going through when their individuality is under attack, but I see it as the key to the next chapter. That’s one thing I believe makes me unique.
