Why Productive Things To Do Is The Key To Your Daily Routine
With productive things to do, you would have no worries. It’s easy to say, but what do you do when you feel that you have fallen off the bandwagon?
Just know you need to create your own productive approach, learn what works for you, then implement those skills.
I’ve fallen off so many times, especially during quarantine and working from home. It was easy, just not to feel motivated. But getting back made me more productive.
My productive things to do are going to be yours. You’re not the only one who wants to be more productive, feel inspired and successful.
My best productive moment started after I struggled to find a productive routine during quarantine stages. I guess everyone was struggling, but I’ve developed better productive habits. Although I’m not working from home fully, I prioritize these productive things to stay consistent and have a thriving day.

If you’re looking for ways to stay consistent and swing your productivity, ding-dong this post is for you. You don’t need to feel overwhelmed if you are not productive. There isn’t any right way to stay consistent, so stop trying to be productive.
The rules on how to be more productive AND consistent are letting things flow and building creative, productive habits.
WHAT 7 PRODUCTIVE THINGS TO DO DAILY AND STICK TO IT
Step 1. STEP UP THE NIGHT BEFORE
Spend at least 5-10 minutes before you go to bed, planning for the next day with a to-do list pad. When you create a list of productive things to do, it will keep you in check when you wake up. I recommend using a daily task list with at least five of the most important things to accomplish and update.
Please don’t overload your daily task because you’ll not feel encouraged or be productive to complete it.
Step 2. STEP UP A TIMER/DEADLINE
To help you get things done, step up deadlines or timer on your phone. I love using this alarm clock because the mobile phone could be a distraction.
On that note, you need to really remove distractors for this task because it can create a negative signal to the brain. Take note of when you start the task and when it ends. It’ll allow the mind to be active and feel accomplished when that timer goes off.
Now, if you haven’t completed the task, don’t stress. Leave it, create a list of uncompleted tasks and move on. I promise if you stick to this, you’ll achieve so much.
Step 3. HAVE AN ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNER
When you have an accountability partner throughout the day, they will discipline you. To help with this, have someone who check-in at the beginning or mid-day—daily report supports, consistent.
Talk to the right people and reach out to valuable people who have their lives and habits in check.
And, hello, I’m excited if you want an accountability mentor, I’m ready to help you! Could you send me a message?
Step 4. SET UP YOUR WORKSPACE
Make your space tidy and functional. Get yourself lovely stationery (notepad, stickers, sticky note, highlighters, pens, paperclips, paper and more). It will help you be creative, and this small task makes you consistent with your productive routine.
Even if you don’t have a workspace, find an area that helps with productivity.
For example, if you want to work on your sofa, buy this laptop pad to keep you organized and productive.
Step 5. KNOW YOUR PURPOSE
All things are possible if you know your purpose. If you don’t know your goal, you will neglect the task. It would be best to focus on your why for every task on your to-do list.
Here are questions to help you create purposeful, productive things to do and add to your to-do-list.
- Why did I put this task into action?
- How is this task going to impact my daily accomplishment?
- What do I need to get it done?
- Is this task meaningful?
- Why do I want this _____?
- Why, Why, and more why
These questions might seem simple, but thinking about them is what keeps us going.
Step 6. PRODUCTIVE JOURNALS
There is something about writing that I love. It lets you know that you are in control. I keep journals for different tasks. For example, I have a yearly journal for my big goals and dreams, a business/blog journal, and a daily to-do list. This will help you to visualize and not get lost in your imagination.
Step 7. FIND TIME FOR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Personal development is essential if you want to be consistent in your day. Schedule 30 minutes every day to develop and learn a new skill. Whether it’s going on YouTube, listening to a podcast or read self-help books, these tasks will help you learn new ways to boost your productivity and help you to stay consistent.
