My absolute favorite thing to write about is an adventure. I love adventures because it’s time to soak in what the environment has to offer and be aware of the beautiful things in our surroundings.

Also, fall is my favorite season – it’s a perfect duo. In this case, I’ll share all the fun ideas if you are on the search for 10 fall adventures in your city.

From indoor and outdoor activities, mind and body activities and food. So, you should bookmark this for your next adventure trip. You may also add them to your fall bucket list if you have not planned one. Besides, I kept this list related to my city, but I’m sure you can find similar adventures in your city.

 OUTDOOR

  • Spend a weekend at a cottage

This adventure I plan to add to my bucket list. Because I’m excited about spending time surrounded by colourful trees and making hot chocolate by the lake. 

  • Visit Nature Parks

Canada has some of the most beautiful parks. So I love exploring and doing fun activities like hiking and biking.

INDOOR

  • Harvest a herb garden

I know summer is over, but you can bring your garden indoors. So make a day to harvest a herb garden then enjoy with a delicious homegrown meal. 

  • Make homemade fall recipes 

Fall is the season for colorful ingredients. So, save a few dollars and create all your favorite recipes. Probably, pumpkin pie, pumpkin gingerbread, roast pumpkin seeds and the list goes on but share your fall recipes in the comments – I’m curious.

MIND 

  • Learn a new craft/hobby

The weather is cooling down, and the day is getting shorter, which can shift our focus. Therefore it is important to make use of our indoor time to engage the mind. Such as, learn a new craft or hobby: knitting, sewing, cooking/baking, painting or drawing – don’t let your imagination be limited.

  • Join a book club 

Reading is a way to keep your brain sharp and nourished. So, I plan on joining a book club to keep me active and sociable this fall. I highly recommend finding a group of friends, fun books and create a book club to remember this fall.

  • Fitness challenge 

The mind and the body are interconnected, so whatever is good for the mind is also beneficial for the body. There is always a fitness challenge, for instance, spin class, boot camps, 30 days abs challenge, no sugar diet, or no carbs. So find an adventurous one because in summer 2020 you will be thanking yourself.

  • Yoga

Hot yoga is a great mind to body adventure, especially in the cooler weather, which calls for a hot studio and a sweaty workout. So, maybe you thought about it but never did, I highly suggest that you try this unique adventure. MY

Fall season I spend a lot of my weekends enjoying brunch, pumpkin spice latte and large breakfast. Also, weekends are my time to have a meal outside my healthy options. So, you can call this your weekend food trip adventure.

  • Apple picking and Local food tour/tasting

Canada is home for apple picking, so look for one and check it out. If you don’t have apple picking look for a local food tour. It’s a perfect time to experience unusual dishes which is also sometimes free.
