PROBLEM – COLD/FLU

Garlic and ginger are excellent for the flu. Ginger contains anti-inflammatory, which is ideal for any home remedy along with digestion. Another benefit is the soothing healing elements. It’s a great flavorful drink. I will pre-made and steep it for 10 minutes. This trick is to get the pungent raw and natural ginger root.

Garlic, on the other hand, should be in every kitchen. Here’s why! The benefits are amazing! Just like ginger crush two cloves, boil the garlic, and steep it for 10 minutes. You can add turmeric. Now, add a splash of raw honey or maple syrup and enjoy your natural remedy tea. Simple and no prescription needed.

REMEDY – MINT LEAF TEA

Mint leaf tea is a recommendation from my late grandmother. So all credit goes to her. Now I have to say the older people know what good. You can either take two to three-mint leaf and chew (raw). The pungent ingredients will reduce fever. Now, if you are contemplating mint actually induces sweating, which is a natural way to cool high temperature.

REMEDY – THYME TEA

PROBLEM – SINUS INFECTION

Thyme tea is one tea that is great for sinus. It really helps me after I had surgery through my nose. Because of that, my Holistic doctor recommended this remedy! Also, thyme is antiseptic and anti-microbial. Not to mention, it’s known to treat digestion acne, sore throat and has excellent anti-parasitic properties. To prepare, I add boiling water over two stalks of thyme, let it steep for 4-6 minutes. – add honey if needed.

REMEDY – ROSEMARY WITH GREEN TEA

PROBLEM – MEMORY

Rosemary is ideal for memory. I’m getting older, so I’m trying to preserve my brain. Any extra time on my brain ageing is vital. Not to mention, this plant is high in anti-oxidant, antiseptic and anti-microbial. Also, it’s good for the eyes! I’ve added green tea mainly for its fantastic compounds. Now get your favourite teacup, add hot water, 1 bag of green tea or 1tsp loose green tea and 1 tsp of dried leaves of rosemary. Steep for 20 minutes and ENJOY!

REMEDY -TURMERIC TEA

PROBLEM – HEADACHES

I love learning about natural remedies that work. Turmeric is one! It’s a systemic anti-inflammatory that is rich in color. And the best is you don’t need Ibuprofen. Hence, add this powerful spice that’s a healing herb. Fun fact – it’s widely used in East Indian homes. It can be used as a natural pain killer, improves mood, and the list continues. Add cinnamon and hot water. And that’s your serving of turmeric tea.

    I love these natural tea remedies especially anything with ginger. But at the moment I’m gonna have to try the rosemary green tea because the way my schedule is set up I tend to forget a lot and its not cute lol So I really need to try and see if that would help 🙂
