My morning routine checklist is the ladder for me to have a successful day. I start each day with a structure. It’s useful to know what part of the day works best for you. Morning happens to be my most productive routine. Although it’s always evolving, I think it’s essential to create habits that’ll help you connect and make you feel grounded.

In today’s blog post, I’m sharing my 5 simple morning routine checklist for a successful day.

So, whatever your daily routine start with good intention. Because every intention can trigger the release of feel-good chemicals in the brain, with that said, let’s start the day and engage in a morning ritual that works for you.

HOW TO START A MORNING ROUTINE CHECKLIST

Morning is an invitation to create a successful habit. So, start your day by creating a simple morning routine checklist that will put your mind in order. Every moment harbours the potential for success.

1. ORDER YOUR MORNING 

We are all different, but ordering your time is a good practice for success. Our bodies need some form of order to adjust for the day. I recommend you have a set time to get up – before sunrise. If you take this moment, you are giving your brain signals to balance your energy. Not to mention fueling your body and mind the right way.

But here are some ways to set your morning:

  • Apply wisdom to my morning – The key is to seek the will of the father (Lord). I use this opportunity to align my thoughts and words with the Lord. Whether you are a believer or not commanding your views and words are the key to making the most of every situation in life. After all, we all have the same quantity of time to be kind to ourselves.
  • Focus on my intention – Here, I use the time to ask myself, ‘what do I want to accomplish today?”

By the time you read this, I’ve already created a checklist for an entrepreneur. It’s everything to know how to plan your day.

2. PLAN YOUR NUTRITION  

Nutrition is a time to get real with your body. When you plan, you’ll eliminate items and stock the right nutritional food. Plus, food triggers your cognitive process and affects your mood to function effectively. Hence, a good plan will make you healthier.

Here are some of my favorite nutritional morning routine checklist:

  • Start the morning with a glass of warm lemon/lime water or green juice (spinach, ginger, orange and celery) 
  • Drink my favorite tea – green tea, ginger turmeric, holy basil or Tulsi, spearmint and more. 
  • Super bowl – rolled oats, warm oat milk, blueberries, almond butter, hemp seeds, coconut flakes, walnuts and cinnamon.
  • Last, I will take my supplements for an extra boost.

3. MOVE YOUR BODY 

It is essential to move your body. Especially with the current Covid19 situation. An at-home workout is vital on your list for your stress and mind. For example, I’ve been moving my body with these activities:

4 – SET A TO-DO LIST GOALS

My to-do list is a structure not to overwhelm me, but to be realistic. In fact, to be effective, you need to have a schedule. So this is how my plan is working.

First, take 15 minutes and plan your to-do schedule. Before you know it, you have structure and you can focus!

5 – REMOVE THOSE DISTRACTIONS

Oh my, I’m going there today. You know the distractors, get it out the way now. For instance, devices, people, social apps and so on.

Besides, I follow the 80/20 rule concerning my to-do list and schedule tasks of importance. For instance, no phone in the same room, closing the unnecessary tap on my computer, social media block off time, or using an app (flipd) that keeps me on track.
